VIPER is the new ANTIMASK outdoor sensor that takes over the previous generation’s winning properties, integrating the latest available technologies and improving detection performance.
The detection is ensured by the combination of two completely independent movable heads, individually orientable both horizontally and vertically, each with its own sensitivity adjustment. Versatile and reliable, thanks to its technology, VIPER permanently eliminates
unwanted alarms.
Equipped with anti-opening/anti-removal tamper, it is supplied with a nice protective visor and can be mounted at a height between 1.40m and 2.20m.
Active antimasking.
VIPER integrates an active infrared anti-masking system that readily detects any attempts to mask the sensor. The -LITE version does not include this feature.
Digital Analysis Algorithm.
The signal of the individual heads is analyzed by a completely new digital algorithm, obtaining a more accurate and reliable detection. On the double technology model, moreover, the DUALSENSE algorithm
is able to discriminate the two movements of crossing and approach, allowing full control of the sensor even in the most difficult environments.
Simple and Eff ective Manual Walk-Test.
The new walk-test function independent for each single head allows a simple but accurate calibration of the detection areas, with LED indication and acoustic buzzer for easy installation even in low visibility conditions.
Wireless BT Walk-Test and Programming.
VIPER is the only outdoor sensor with walk-test and complete programming in the fi eld through the APP VIEW SENSOR on mobile device in BT wireless connection (optional BT-LINK-S module)
Automatic temperature compensation.
The sensor automatically adjusts the detection parameters to the outside temperature.
Crossing function.
The double technology sensor discriminates between a crossing and an approach movement. The crossing detection can be inhibited in areas more subject to environmentaldisturbances (passing vehicles,
vegetation movement, etc.)
AND intelligent function
The alarm is generated only when it first detects the upper head and then the lower one, thus discriminating the directional movement.
